Recipe: Quick Apple Crisp

Here is a yummy apple crisp recipe that I often make in Autumn.  Enjoy!

Quick Apple Crisp

  • 5 Granny Smith Apples (or any hard apple)
  • 1 pkg. (9 oz) Yellow Cake Mix
  • 2 TB. Sugar
  • 1 TB. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Butter, melted
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350.  Peel, core and slice apples.  Cut apples in half.  Place apples in a deep dish (9×13)

2.  Combine cake mix, sugar, cinnamon, butter and nuts in bowl.  Mix until crumbly.  Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.

3.  Bake 35-40 minutes or until apples are tender.  Serve warm with ice cream or frozen whipped topping for an added boost of yum!  =)
