I took my rolled rosette tutorial to the next level and made a headband.
Here’s what you need:
- scissors
- scrap fabric cut into strips (about .5 – 1.5 inches thick, whatever you prefer)
- felt
- headband (I purchased mine from the dollar tree. They had 3 and 4 packs for $1)
- glue gun
Make it:
- Add a dab of hot glue at the end of the headband and begin wrapping the scrap fabric around the band, placing a dab of glue every few wraps to keep secure. When you come to the opposite end of the headband, cut the fabric to fit and secure with glue.
- Now make 3 rosettes. you can use my scrappy rosette flower tutorial here.
- hot glue 2 rosettes side by side off-centered onto the headband
- hot glue the remaining rosette centered on top of the 2
- cut 2 small rectangles of felt and secure over headband at the back with hot glue
Enjoy!
