Refreshing Summer Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Do you enjoy smoothies? Most of the time I just dump ingredients and get a surprising taste result. I made this smoothie the other day and it was SO delicious and refreshing that I decided to make it again this morning and measure the ingredients to share with you. I use a Vita-Mix blender…which is AWESOME and a powerhouse. I’ll talk more about my blender at the end.

Dump all this into your blender:
(you can use frozen, fresh, or a combination)
1 small banana
1/2 c. blueberries
1/2 c. pineapple
1 plum
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. ice cubes

Blend & Enjoy! Makes 3 cups.

So, let me tell you about my blender, The VitaMix.  I saved up my money (b/c they are not cheap) and purchased the best blender ever about 2 years ago.  I can make hot soups in 4 minutes, peanut butter, smoothies, popsicles, powdered sugar, pancake batter, and SO much more!  I use is almost everyday…sometimes 2-3 times a day.  This blender has encouraged me to eat healthier and I feel great because of it.  If you have been looking at the VitaMix and want to purchase one, you can go to their website HERE and use coupon code: 06-005369 to receive free shipping (that will save $25-$30).  You can also learn more/watch videos about the Vitamix at their website.
